Terms of Service
Effective date: July 20, 2026
These terms apply when you play Stream Siege — a multiplayer tower-defense game delivered as a Twitch extension — or use this website (streamsiege.com). By playing the game or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, don’t use the service.
The service
Stream Siege lets viewers of a Twitch stream play a shared tower-defense match together. It is in early development: features, balance, and availability change often, matches may be interrupted, and the service may be offline for stretches of time. The game is free to play and has no accounts of its own; it runs on your Twitch identity. Optional purchases exist (see Purchases and virtual items below), and everything gameplay-affecting can also be earned free through play.
Eligibility and Twitch
The game runs inside Twitch, so you must have a Twitch account in good standing and comply with theTwitch Terms of Serviceand Community Guidelines while playing. Twitch requires users to be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires); the same applies here. Stream Siege is an independent project — it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch. Twitch is a trademark of Twitch Interactive, Inc.
Fair play
When playing, you agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts, or automation to play or to gain an advantage;
- disrupt matches, the game servers, or other players’ ability to play (including attempts to overload or probe the service);
- impersonate other people, streamers, or the developers;
- use the game to harass anyone or to violate any law.
We may remove a player from a match, or block a user or channel from the service, if we believe these rules are being broken. Where behavior also breaks Twitch’s rules, Twitch’s own enforcement applies independently.
Purchases and virtual items
Some in-game content (alternate subclasses) can be unlocked with Twitch Bits, or earned with in-game points gained by playing. All purchases are processed by Twitch under Twitch’s own terms; we never handle payment details. What you receive is alicense to use that content inside Stream Siege, tied to your Twitch account: virtual items and in-game points have no monetary value, cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for money, and paid content is deliberately balanced to parity with the free content (more options, never more power). We keep a permanent record of every purchase so unlocks can be restored if something goes wrong; if an unlock you paid for is missing, contact us and we will make it right. Game balance changes may adjust how any item plays. Refund requests for Bits purchases are handled by Twitch under its policies.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the game or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. Live match state is temporary by design. Career stats, in-game points, and unlocks persist while the service operates, as licenses rather than possessions; if the service is permanently discontinued, virtual items and points may cease to function and carry no residual value.
Intellectual property
The game, its artwork, names, and content belong to the Stream Siege developer. You may stream, record, and share gameplay freely — that is what the game is for. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative versions of the game itself without permission.
Privacy
How the game handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Stream Siege developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. The service is free; to the extent any liability exists, it is limited to the greater of the amount you spent on Stream Siege purchases in the twelve months before the claim, or ten dollars.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will update this page and its effective date. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
